My GSR feels much better and less piggish than the MR and much more like an Evo.

I wish it had an extra gear and maybe a lil more punch from the turbo and the MR seats.

Overall I can't complain too much though as I thoroughly enjoy this car and love making my girl car sick in it.
Remember I owned a Evo 8 for 10 years. That car was great, that was an Evo to me.

Also keep in mind I'm currently running bilsteins with Spec R's (like your MR) and I think that setup is horrible for what I like, hence moving to coilovers. So maybe you can understand better now?

I don't care about smog, it's every six years on new cars and I'll have this car two years max. Even if I had to smog, it's 4 bolts away from having the OEM cat back on and it will pass smog no problem.

I recently smogged my Evo 8. E85, 272/280 cams, FMIC, FPgreen, 1kcc injectors, etc. All I did was put the cat back on and it passed smog with flying colors:

Nice work on that wheel punk! drift king'ing it or what?

What don't you like about the specR/bilstein setup? Too soft? Too progressive? To high?

Rear sway makes a HUGE difference on the X, it should be one of the first mods IMHO. Do that and see how you like it, really improves the car.

I have more fun in my Fiesta ST. Oh well.

I'll wait to see what Mitsu has for us next.

Well, I started tinkering with the Evo again. I FINALLY installed my rear whiteline sway bar I had sitting in the garage for about a year.

You where right scheides. Made the car so much better. Back in 2005, the first mod I ever did on my 05 MR was a rear whiteline bar. I think I forgot how much it improved the car.

It basically made me like the car again. So much that I ended up purchasing a set of coilovers and will be installing those soon as well.

Guess the project begins again.

I was. I ended up selling my spot the week before because of some other obligations.

So i noticed an odd thing yesterday while looking over the car. The right rear tire has more wear than the other three. It's not odd wear but pretty balanced over the whole tire. Pressure is the same as others.

Of course, I am going to check alignment anyway but has anybody else seen this on a 10? Is this a AYC thing? I have been having a bit more "fun" with the back end since I put the sway bar on.

Could be coincidence but I had the same observation when replacing the tires on my 2012 GSR. I also drive the car like it was meant to be driven thus I tend to wear the outer ring of the tires first

My IX never did that for reference... same driver and style
