Nope they are made by Vis. No one can really spot the difference. The front fender fitment is spot on with holes pre drilled as well.

I'm also pulling the motor this week.
I was able to sell the entire long block and since it's healthy I thought why not.

Just picked up some color matched paint to paint the engine bay. Ill have to degrease it, sand and most likely primer it.

Wire tuck will also be happening once the bay is all done, and fuse box relocation.

Parts for the head have been ordered
GSC s2 cams
Ferrera 1mm oversize valves
Kiggly Beehive Springs and Retainers.

I also swapped my old long block into a customers car.

And sent out my tcase and trans to TRE

I also started stripping my calipers to get them hard anodized!

 

alot of time and $ put into this, very nice setup

My anodizing plan didn't work since there are steel sleeves in the aluminum casting of the calipers. So I went out and got a sand blaster and went to town.

After I wetsanded and did a final buff




Then reassembled with new racing brake ss pistons and high temp dust boots.
