Time for some more updated pictures. Here's a couple more shots of the back end of the car so you can see the extra time and detail put into cleaning everything up.

As you can see below, stock calipers and brake rotors. STM was backed up on light weight rear rotors so we had to go with OEM. Also had to run the OEM driveshaft since our budget was far overdone with other more important parts.

Now that I got the suspension cleaned up and painted, I was able to put the motor and a mock up trans in the car to start working on the exhaust. To this point we still hadn't gotten the TRE trans back from Jon and the turbo came in while I was gone for a wedding a few weeks prior so without waiting for me to get back the parts were sent out for powder. I do have to give a major thank you to Justin @ Detective Coating for squeezing us in while he was also crunching time with shootout stuff.
Still on a major lack of sleep but the goal was still in sight. And we weren't at the worst of the sleep deprivation yet.

Yeah the things is everyone thought this was a shop race car. It was always only Tylers car. After seeing how much people didn't know it was his car, I wanted to make sure it had a uniqueness to myself so it wasn't confused with anyone else. I still give Tyler half the credit of finishing this car. We both work our butts off to get it done for the shootout.
Im not a fan of red anyway, and oddly enough neither was Tyler. He originally wanted white and only found a red one at that time. I wanted to paint he car a satin black, but we settled on a pearl white.
I tried to cut quite a bit of weight. There are other parts of the car I won't show in terms of where I dropped weight. The weight of the car at the shootout was 2195 but after that we finished the rear firewall, windshield bar and a couple other small odds and ends. Final weight was probably 2215ish. Never weighed it after I ran the 9 second pass.
