2003 Evo8
Sounds like you're on your way! That clutch is one of the best all-around clutches available. It handles decent power and drives about as close to stock as you can get. You asked about fluids: Amsoil, IMO, is overkill for anything less than a race car (even still....), but they won't hurt your car, so no harm done there. Hopefully you downloaded the FSM. That thing saves my *** on a regular basis LOL.
This site is still really good for searching/finding information There are still about half a dozen, really knowledgeable people that frequent EvoM. Even when I Google info, guess which site comes up first? LOL.
Welcome and maaaaaaaaan, you are gonna love driving that thing.

As for oil, I've always used Rotella t6. Right now I'm trying Castrol to see if I notice any difference in a lifter tick I've had since... forever (despite swapping lifters three times). Anyway, I still like Rotella, though I need to research because I've heard rumors the formulation is different now. If I'm not happy with it, I'll stick with Castrol.
I've researched until my eyes hurt and haven't found expensive oils to be beneficial for my application. Yours may differ. Also, I change the oil after every two events, or so, and that would get pretty danged expensive with oil that costs $15/qt. My oil pan is over 6qts.
Amsoil is good stuff, though.
The new goodies!
I added a couple photos of how the engine bay sits let me know if you see any thing out of wack lol but I got her in the garage with a comealong and my 4runner slowly but surely... lol

Oh Dang. Yeah, its a great time to consider new mounts. You can order replacement inserts into the stock brkts or go w/the bling (Torque Solutions) and get their billet mounts (thats what i run)
Either way, the rubbers need to go & replace w/new. You can hopefully save the rear trans mount. Many of us just run the stocker because it creates a lot of vibrations if you replace that bush w/a harder one
got it will do i was looking at some billet mounts as well. thank you for the info.

I'd also do something about this wire. It's just asking to short out your system or start a fire.
oh man i gave my Cousin so much **** about that he ran the sub PWR through the door jam and the wire has been crimped and looks like it was starting to melt...
Car Audio was the first thing i got into with cars so i will make all that invisible when im done. but yes thanks for noticing that
Edit: Im going with the Agency Power mounts aleardy ordered.
