I love the Borg SX-E units. I'm excited to see how this works for you!

Filthy word on here I know but I'm about to fit an S372SXE with a 0.82 T3 housing on my 2.1 litre Impreza. Been running an EFR9180 T3 for the last 3 years but it decided to part company with it's exhaust wheel on Saturday. Figures for the S372SXE are very hard to find so I'm curious to see what we both make on our respective platforms.

Oh that's rough - how hard have you been pushing the 9180? Were you monitoring turbine speed?

Be interesting to see how you find the MS3Pro, I've heard quite mixed experiences.

How is the response so far?

With the s369sxe and .91 a/r twin scroll it was around 5600 rpm to 20 psi. Now with the s372sxe and 1.10 a/r TS it’s around 6000 rpm so I lost a little bit of response, but hoping for big gains up top
The Magnus intake and full port job should help too.

Been pushing it fairly hard, 860hp at 2.7 bar on a 0.83 internal gate housing welded shut to use a 44mm external gate. No to now the engine management I had wasn't capable of monitoring turbo speed. Recently swapped to a Link Thunder EMS so will be adding turbo speed sensing to that and back pressure monitoring too.

Oh yeah, that's pretty hard - especially on the smallest hotside. I am not so sure the Link thunder can handle turbine speed, I think they have a max frequency they can handle which is below what a typical turbine speed sensor spits out. I am pretty sure people tend to need to do some custom circuitry to "step down" the freq, often to effectively divide by ten and factor that in when you look at the logged data.
