Evo VIII 1000hp build S372 Borg
Well I’m getting close to finishing up this build. I have an old build thread with the S366 turbo but with so many upgrades and a new 72mm BorgWarner turbo I figured a new thread was appropriate. Here’s the first build I did.

Items I have upgraded are as follows....
I ditched the old double pumper because it was maxed out at 850hp. I went with twin AEM 044 pumps and fuel cell. Ran stainless lines (5/8” feed, 1/2” return). Aeromotive regulator and Magnus rail.
Diched the stock intake for a Magnus V5. Ditched the stock TB for a S90 TB.
I did a DIY head porting job.
Ditched the stock crank for a billet Manley 88mm stroke.
O-ringed the block and head for use with a copper head gasket.
Filled the block too the top and ported the pistons. I did this to promote better ring seal as I was having blow by issues at +40 psi boost.
Davies Craig water pump. Modified the oil pan even more...lol.
Transmission got Carbon syncros installed.
Ditched the Toyota coil COP setup for a M&W CDI sequential setup.
ECU will remain stock for now.
Omni Power 7 Bar sensor.
Rota slipstreams with 26” Hoosier QTP’s
Almost forgot new stickers on the mirrors “objects in mirror are losing “
Thats all I can think of for now, I’m sure I missed some stuff.

the transmission has tapered roller bearings on the input shaft along with increased preloads on the bearings. The bolts that hold the trans together were upgraded to capscrews. The torque tube is a forged unit. We will see if it holds up I guess
