My Evo 4

I used to have imprezas . Then moved to NZ and found it to much of a pain to import the impreza. I sold it thinking I would buy one here but I never found what I wanted . So I ended up with an Evo 4.

The Impreza and the Evo are very much different beasts having now owned them both . I'm really surprised on how well the Evo performs.

it came with the hks turbo timer and a 6puk clutch and was lowered on stock OZ alloys . Needs a bit of TLC. First of all some one has fitted a cheap nasty tubular manifold from China which is cracking and blowing and the engine mounts are wearing which for the time being I put a torque damper on which has changed the car no end including gear changes. Also came with Hks 3 inch exhaust system air filter pod and Tomei bov valve
My goal for this car is to take this engine to 380-400 bhp not kws the engine was replaced with a 100k engine a while back and I dropped the oil yesterday at work . I'm in the trade as a mechanic/ technician. It's also my daily car . I'm not in to drag racing this is going to be a road car . I want to use as much std Evo bits as I can to achieve this goal . Apart from an external waste gate. I will get some more pictures.

Just waiting for some time now to swap the rubbish stainless steel manifold for the stock manifold.

Also I could do with finding of the stock manifold makes 400bhp .
And when does stock TD05 max out at and the stock injectors.
I do have the factory ecu to put in. I'm told it's a Tomei mac Ecu

I want to use factory parts if possible

The pipes to the aircon are now gone. Condenser is gone , just the compressor now the fan and the evaporator left . The belt number is 6pk 1445 .

Hoping the metal bar unbolts to remove the evaporator.

Wow great thread! Stock ported exhaust manifold will be all you'll ever need with stock frame turbos.

ECU and injectors fitted now seeing 19psi
And she doesn't half move. I can go to 22 psi . Need more upgrades before I go further.

Ive ordered a torque pro engine mount with the 75 shore harshness rating .
