Was looking at buying a blown Evo 2 and a Evo 6 engine + trans. Was wondering if anyone knows how difficult it would be to fully swap them, as well as if suspension would be different because of the swapped engine sides. Would this even be a realistic swap? I don't know the intricacies of part swapping on Evo guns.

 

Based on my Honda experience when going B to K, which also swaps engine sides, you have to cut the trans bracket off the frame rail and use mounts specifically made for the new motor in the old chassis. Now, I have no clue if these kinda mounts exist. Just speculation at this point.

 

Racefab makes a kit to mount a newer drivetrain into evo 1-3. But it all costs a small fortune.

 

I think you will have a hard time with this ! theoretically it is hard !
