I have my Mitsubishi lancer rally , and I can’t drive it because of the timing chain I don’t have the knowledge to repair and don’t want to try to because I’m afraid I’ll get something wrong and I’ll mess it up completely and have a catastrophic failure. So I want to sell it and give it to someone that knows how to repair it. And enjoy the car.

 

Find a shop to do the timing chain. I am not familiar with the shops in and around ATL but there has to be one.

 

on my first engine swap project, i spoke to a shop by the gas station (asians) and asked if they could install a new engine for me. they said yes for around $600. I ordered a streetable race engine and got it shipped there (CA to NYC area), then i sputtered my car there lol (you can tow it there for $50). new engine was converted to twin weber carbs at the same time and luckily its nothing new to filipinos. for EFI, once its idling you can just take it to another shop for tuning.
I've had several engines on the evo and on the last one I just dropped the engine at the shop, picked it up and installed it myself.

you could probably give that away to Lemons racers. or that other low budget racing series. they would love you for that
