Honestly, he'll make more money parting out; $13.5k is almost as much as they cost new a few years ago. Mods almost never end up adding to the value of the vehicle when it comes time to sell, and he may be able to get a couple thousand out of what's installed. I ended up parting out my coilovers, wheels/tires, exhaust, struts and header, and it sold for only $500 less than I had been asking before. In any case, tell him good luck with the sale!
