*pictures now up, and big price drop!*
I need this thing to have a buyer before the car I'm interested in gets away!
Started off 16.5k.. then 16k... NOW 15K!! FIRM!!
Hey guys I'm listing up my car as NOW FS for the only reason that I'm interested in another Evo. It is a 2005 TB Evo 8 GSR. I am the second owner of the car and it has aprox. 77700 miles on it currently and it is my DD so it'll increase slightly with time seeing I drive less than 5 miles to work. I bought the car with a little over 50k on the clock from the previous owner who put nearly all highway miles on it, and have nearly all documentation of services & maintenance done to the vehicle from myself and the previous owner. Ever since owning the car I've only used AMSoil motor oil, and Redline fluids for everything else.
The car also has a fully rebuilt transmission from Strictly Modified and has less than 5k on it, and shifts like butter. The car also has a Quartermaster twin-disk clutch with just over 800 miles on it, so plenty of life left. The Evo has only been to the track one time when it was completely stock and ran a 12.95 @ 106, so its a very strong runner. Other than the one track appearance I've never launched, beaten, or raced the car. Also the car has never seen above stock boost.
As far as vehicle history with accidents there is only one, where the passenger side of the car was backed into between the front and rear doors while I was getting gas.. and was taken care of by their insurance. I have full documentation on this as well, including TB touch up paint if ever needed. Also while at work someone attempted to parallel park behind me and lightly swiped the left rear quarter panel of the car with their rim, and only found out when I was leaving work seeing it myself.
Current modifications
3" Espelier GTC500 series cat-back *discontinued.. sounds awesome*
3" Test pipe
3" Down pipe already bunged for WB02
The exhaust also has a "CEL fix" for the rear 02 sensor which doesn't allow for the sensor to go completely into the exhaust flow which would normally throw a CEL from running the test pipe.
AMS SS clutch line
Fully rebuilt 5spd. trans with 5k on it
Quartermaster twin-disk *just over 800 miles on it*
K&N drop-in filter
BPR7ES plugs (1 step colder than stock)
Newer all-season tires with roughly 90% tread left
Perrin shorty antenna
*Next list all done by previous owner*
Greedy radiator shroud
Greedy shift knob
Sparco pedals
MR floor mats
Full interior carbon fiber trim package
Evolution VIII graphic on side of the driver & passenger door
Caution to women sticker (you'll see in pictures)
The bad:
-The rear wings clear coat has faded badly and is flaking off (thanks mitsu. for the awesome paint)
-Small paint chips on the hood, but that's on every car
-The car has a cracked windshield due to a small rock hitting it on the highway
-The ACD pump is out on the car. But I talked to a Mitsu. tech and he said that even with the ACD pump no longer working its completely fine to drive because it defaults itself back into tarmac mode if all 3 lights are on. If you were to replace the pump, I wouldn't go to a dealer for the part, but simply look for one on the forums here. I've seen them lightly used for as little as $200 compared to the 1k or more at the dealership. Again its completely fine to drive, and I drive it everyday with no issues.
damage from the person who tried to parallel park
I love this sticker
I have the spark plug cover as well, I just never put it back on after the last time I changed the plugs.
I'm asking *edit again!* 15k for the car, and I am located in Chicago IL.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things so if you have any questions feel free to ask or PM me, I check the sight multiple times a day. Thanks
