I'm selling my 2003 Lancer Evolution VIII GSR. It has a little over 95,000 on the chasis. I am the second owner of this Evo and it was completely stock when I bought it in March, 2007. This means I know EVERYTHING put on and done to this car. With that said, feel free to ask any questions you may have about the car.
My reasons for selling it are that I have been putting far to much of myself into this car and not enough on the important things in my life. I've put WELL over $33,000 dollars into this car on top of the over $20,000 I bought it for. After two back to back builds that went bad and the finacial and personal grief this thing has given me, I'm glad to let it go. Not interested in trades.
I have tried to use nothing less than top quality parts on building this car so I know what it is and what you should be able to get out of it. I'm looking to get $15,000 for it with all parts needed for a third rebuild. (If you should want to)
The only negative about the car is that the T-case needs a rebuild (product of the second build). It whines when you drive the car.
The car DOES NOT come with the taillights, 3rd brake light, side bumper lights, or the plate lights shown in the pictures. All have been replaced with factory lights!
The car DOES come with the headlights pictured.

This is at the top end of my price range. The car looks exceptional.
Here is something you said: After two back to back builds that went bad and the financial and personal grief this thing has given me, I'm glad to let it go.
Other than the transfer case, are there anymore gremlins with the car?

The first build was done by a friend who put a bearing in wrong. Block was completely tore back down, checked out and fresh bearing put back in for the second build.
Feel free to call me and I can answer any questions you may have.

After the second build, my T-case suddenly began making noise. It was perfectly fine before the guy tore it down. I've only launched the car twice on the factory clutch. It was never launched on the Exedy that is in there now. I don't know what this guy did, but he wrecked my t-case, thus why I say bad build.
