The above Pictures do not really do the Intake Manifold justice. All were from a crappy Cell Phone. It has yet to be fully cleaned up. The exterior has yet to be Polished to the full luster, Only an initial 5 minute buffing has taken place. That is what you see in the last 5 pictures.

The final piece will be fully polished with no scratches or blemishes.

The Intake has already been fully ported and polished on the inside of the plenum, and fully inside the runners. All corners have been radiused, no burrs, no scuffs to cause any obstructions. The Plenium is 5 inch D shaped which is the best of the best shape, the Runners are 2.25 inch Oval shaped which are also the ideal shape and size for full engine potential. I fabbed this first one for the stock Throttle body but can easily change it (for nominal fee) out for larger TB if buyer so chooses. All vacuum lines/fittings will also be attached and the Intake will be ready to bolt up with minimal install work. The vacuum block will be on the underside to hide all the lines out of site. You can image what this unit will look like in a nice engine bay. Would definitely be a show stopper. The price is phenomenal and was priced accordingly for a 1 time only initial offering. Fully TIG welded, Pressure tested, full Warranty, for the ultimate Intake for a Lancer...Bar None..Period..if you want the best for your Lancer you are looking at it.
We at EPM are looking forward to seeing Demon ni2 complete his buildup of his Crazy Strong Lancer OZ. Demon ni2 got a great start with his initial Turbo buildup last year. He impressed and surprised quite a few people with the way his Lancer performed. Now with this second phase of his buildup, he is intent on breaking records and showing everyone just what the Lancer is capable of. This Intake was designed just for that goal in mind, the ultimate lancer Engine Build. Any questions please feel free to let me know.

I didn't see provisions for the EGR and the MAP sensor on this intake manifold. The EGR I can understand. Is it the responsibility of the buyer to make the necessary modifications for the MAP sensor? Also, is the EGR port blocked off on the flange?

Map sensor is located on firewall side of the manifold just barely out of view(not pictured cuz it wasnt on at the time of pictures same with vacuum lines) and egr has been blocked off.

*edit, egr hasnt been blocked offyet , its open as of right now, would be block/filled or connected depending on buyer.

Did you guys use a CNC'd MAP adapter or just drill and tap the provisions for the MAP sensor? Also, probably worth noting that since the EGR will be removed that the buyer will need to make arrangements to disable/bypass the CEL to be able to pass emissions with this manifold.

That really goes for just about any modification to a car, not just an intake manifold, EGR can also be added if thats what buyer has to have. we dont have emission laws in my state, and isnt a concern on our minds. performance is the goal with pieces like this, this isnt just a simple piece to be thrown into a car. modifications and also a tune, will more then likely be required depending what kinda of setup they already have.

This isnt a half built piece that were selling to some unsuspected buyer. any questions or concerns, or even modifications, will be addressed before ill sell it to anyone.

At the time of the above pictures the Vacuum block had yet to be welded into position. Since then I have fabbed up a block and TIG welded it to the back side of the plenum. That location was chosen to hide all the lines. I have also Drilled out/Tapped for vacuum fittings and the MAP sensor. As for the Map Sensor I tried to mimic the OEM mount. I also added brackets to hold the fuel rail firmly in place. The Intake is ready for sale at this point. I have tried to design the Intake so that the end user/buyer would have minimal install. It has been polished and is ready for shipout. I could be convinced to make some more Intakes and maybe a group buy if the interest is there. Although we have priced this one well below our market price. We are trying to gauge interest and market share. The Intake was designed with ultimate performance in mind, however provisions were designed in for daily driving characteristics. I'm pleased on how it turned out, everyone that sees it in public comments positively about it. I know you'll be pleased with the fabrication and also the performance.

I think updated pictures that include all of the installed necessities are in order. What about provisions for the throttle cable bracket mount? I'd also like to see pictures of how the fuel rail mounts look on the runners. Understand, pictures of a semi-completed piece put up for sale are going to merit the types of questions I am asking. At this rate I'm getting confused between what the pictures show and what you say it is and what it has.

Oh I completely understand..I would ask the same questions and have the same concerns. I was thinking about the Throttle cable mount last night and asked about it also. As I am the fabricator I think in those terms. I truely want the buyer/user to have minimal install issues. 'll get Demon ni2 to come and get his Throttle cable setup so I can fab up some mounts for it. The Fuel rail has both mounts(as OEM does) and fits on perfectly. Only thing is the throttle cable mounts which can be easily welded up. I'll get you some pictures asap. Gotta go change out an Evo Accessory belt for now.
Here's a crappy cell phone pic of the fuel rail mounts.
