FS: Freshly rebuilt BBX turbo for evoX. Epic turbo, won stock appearing class last year at MAP Proving grounds, made 480whp at DB(400 on pump gas!) and 550+ at MAP with it. 17k miles or so and it started making noise under boost so I pulled it out and sent it back to CBRD SpeedFactory. Teardown analysis shows that it had thrust bearing failure on the load side and discolored bearings which lead to the compressor wheel touching the compressor cover. Somehow this was due to an oiling problem.....not sure why, how, etc but it is what it is. Ran Mobil1 10w30 on the stock motor for a few thousand miles and AmsOil 10w40 on the built motor/e85 setup the rest of the time.

The turbo was rebuilt with new bearings, compressor wheel, and compressor cover...balanced, assembled, and ready to go do work!

The turbine housing is ported by CBRD and was coated by MAP when it was brand new, still holding up just fine. WGA is *brand new* with 0 miles on it (Blouch misplaced my original)...I can ship it separated (to avoid damage) or mount it and properly set the pre-tension--up to you!
