Hey sorry to hyjack your thread but i am looking at getting either these seats in black or a seat of status rings and i am just wondering why you recommend the bride rails?

Its not just ANY bride rail, its the Bride FO bottom bracket. As far as the bride BOTTOM MOUNT its because I've tried every single damn combination and they ALL sit frickin high. The advantage of the Bride FO bottom bracket is that its a SLIDER & Bottom mount in one peice.
Not a bottom mount, then a slider on top of that, then the side mounts. All that makes the seat sit higher. Just that rail saved me a good 4 1/2 inchs from the previous setup that I had.

If your a big guy, FORGET the Status seats. ALL OF THEM. And I truly am not just saying that so you can get these. I've sat in all the status seats ( I'm 6'4 220lbs with 36 size waist and DID NOT FIT IN ANY OF THEM )

As far as carrying it back, it should be REALLY easy because the seat is like 14 lbs!
