WTB: Angled 4G63/4G64 Manifold Flange
I have yet to see one of these ANYWHERE. But basically it's just a 4G63 manifold flange (sometimes called a spacer) that has been ground to either 1/4" or 1/8" at the top and 1/2" or 3/8" at the bottom, respectively.
These can't be purchased anywhere and are usually custom milled, but I haven't found a machine shop near my area (Bum****ed, Egypt) that is willing to do that for me. I even had one argue (WTF!??) that there is no reason why anyone would ever need something like that.
I am trying to boost my 3G Eclipse, and Evo VIII parts are the way to go; however, I need an angle-milled manifold spacer in order to lift the 16G turbo away from the starter so that the turbo will fit.
It looks like this:
Except it's angled.
Hope this reaches someone!

Appreciate it man, didn't know about them but I just gave JMF a call and said they wouldn't be able to do that. I'll try CRBD as soon as I finish typing this! Thanks for the tips bro.

If you ask me stacking two flanges is the ghetto way to do it. The heat produced in combustion of octane isn't enough to warp 1/4" stainless at the top of the flange (which is about 1/2" above the exhaust gas outlets on the head). Besides, stacking two still makes me grind down my compressor and heat shield my starter. Much more ghetto than angling the flange. I always say "do it once, do it right."
