[WTB] Help Needed
Help Needed
So basically I'm screwed. I bought an Evo on auction which turned out to be a lot worse than i expected. The damn copart ad said run and drive, but when i got it the tranny had a hole, the block has a crack. The turbo, ps pump, ac compressor, exhaust, oil pan, injectors, spark plugs, atlernator, bunch of fluid lines, parts of the harness, belts, pillows, frame, timing side of the engine are all screwed up, along with a whole bunch of other things and other problems i haven't run in to yet. So i guess what i'm asking here is for help.
I know there have been plenty of people who used people by writing up the same thing im asking for right now, but i'm in honest need of help. Im 17, and had put in 8k to the car so far, and still need a whole load of work. The car has been progressing very slowly for the last 2 months, and i haven't been home for that time (Its out of my state and i had to travel to get to it.)
Anyways at this pace the car will be done in around half a year, that's why i am asking for help. I just want to get her finished and get back home haha, but i will go crazy working on it for this long. My calculations to put it on the road were 9k total, but copart screwed me over and now my calculations are at a minimum of 12k. I work if i get the chance, but its hard where i don't have many connections for construction or anything to make some quick cash.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
Really if you guys have anything that could help me out, be it an alternator, a little bit of money, or even a regular 12mm hex screw, i will be grateful no matter what. I've seen the compassion and power of this forum and of evo owners, i just want to thank everyone who has helped me out. Thanks!

get a second job and make the money to fix it. Im sick of people wanting handouts. I pay enough taxes for the lazy. Id rather throw my spare parts away from my 32000 dollar car when I bought it new, than give them away. Sorry I dont feel for you at all. This community has changed way to much over the years and not for the better.

So....get a job?
You bought an "expensive" car (they're coming down in price, but not a civic) on the cheap and were expecting it to work perfect....
Begging people to give you free stuff isn't going to work; if you want it you need to earn it.
Perhaps this is a lesson to buy a working car next time

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."
I fail to see how the OP is screwed. If you can't afford it, sell it to someone who can and move on. You're 17 and bought an expensive sports car with high maintenance and consumable costs. You cut a corner by buying what I assume was a cheap car, apparently sight unseen, on an auction site. What outcome were you expecting?
Begging for handouts on the internet?
