are these the same tires you used on the dragstrip?

yes, same tires. had 1.6 short times with stock clutch.

Did they seem to bolt on safely with the spacers? Was there honestly a safe amount of tread for the bolts to go on?

the h&r spacer kit came with new studs. they are not that hard to install. just pop the other ones out and pull the new ones back in with the lug nuts.
