Edit: Checked the DOT, yes they were made in 2008. I bought them off tire rack in 2009 but then wrecked the car they were going on at a hillclimb. Then I went back to school and they have sat in the garage since.

These tires have been discontinued for some time... And typical "good" shelf life on tires is only 3years at most. They become hard and brittle after that, good luck at that price

These were made in 2008. If these don't sell I'll run them on my own car. After sitting in my garage, they are far from hard, brittle, or cracked. I'm only trying to sell to grab a narrower set (245/40), not out of some attempt to unload these because I won't run them.

I'll def shoot you an offer b/c im looking for some new 265's, I was just shocked that there was only about a 10-15% price drop off tires that are well past their "expiration date". I have an account with Radial Tire here in MD, they sell all tires over 2-3yrs old at 40-60% off... thats how i ended up with my last 3 sets of Toyo's 
BTW I ran these RS2's on my Mugen Civic SI in many auto-x events back in 08' with great success, but they were replaced by the manufacturer with the RS3's that same year. And you can pick up new Kuhmo XS's in this size (or 275's) for $600 all over the place which is a very compairable tire.
