I have a good stock shortblock for rebuild. I dropped a valve and melted #3 piston top (#4 melted abit too, no significant scoring). Bores seem salvagable with hone, I haven't measured them though. Scorring isn't deep. Definitely with a bore job. Engine had 16K miles. Haven't removed oilpan to check bottom-end, but was good before detonation. I shut it down immediately upon detonation.
Crank turns freely. Includes most engine front bolt-ons (water pump, oil pump, balance shafts still intact, few bolts missing up front).
I was planning on rebuilding a stroker out of it, but I need $ now.
Prefer local pick-up, but I can ship frieght, buyer pays cost.
Make me an offer.

(SOLD) I also have a "like-new" stock EVO head (4k miles). It's complete with stock cams still installed, gears too.
Not sure if I want to sell, but for the right price, I'll let it go. Make offer.

B](SOLD) Need to clairify: This head DID NOT come from this shortblock. The head came from a stock engine with only 4000 miles on it. I used the shortblock (after removing the bal shafts).
The head has not been pressure checked, but visually looks good. Same for surface flatness. I used a metal straight-edge. I looked into ports with flashlight while head was still on shortblock, turned the crank and saw (best I could), what the seats looked like, (Good). Besides the carbon build-up, which is ussual for a stock engine (rich), this head is primo.[/B]

Yes, I had a typo in my injector scaling. A "6" instead of a "5" cost me $4500.
