wtb: AEM wideband logging cable

as the title states. Looking for the cable that you make and splice into the wideband harness to log on Evoscan.

Thanks
Dan

Have you guys seen this? I made a pretty good writeup w/ pics that lets you easily make the cable. It's very simple.

Dude, its 2 freakin wires.....

I made one in 20 min... taking my time... I mean like eating a sandwich while I was making it.

Just go to radio shack, get a DB9 connector and end case, and solder the 2 wires to the two coming off the wideband. Actually one wire from the wideband, and the other gets grounded.

You can download the actual user's manual from http://forum.aempower.com/forum/inde...c,16214.0.html you have to become a member though. Or PM me you're e-mail and I'll send it you to if you want

Oh, you'll need a serial to usb converter thats compatible with the version of windows you have

I had a problem because the first one wasn't compatible with windows vista. The second cheaper like $5 random internet site converter was though

Im glad you did, but I unfortunately work 60+ hours a week and dont have free time to do this. Also, my solder is broken at the moment so I dont want a weak connection by just crimping it.

So im still willing to pay!

Well, how soon do you need it? I could make one this weekend.

How about $25 shipped?

You will still have to connect it to the wire that comes out of your wideband. And then get a serial-usb converter.

I can include a copy (printed at home) of the AEM UEGO manual, so you can have refrences of baud rate, ect.

It would probably look better with some shrink tubing, instead of the electrical tape, but I couldn't get my hands on any this weekend. Only the 6" strips of it.

Is there any way you can see if it works? Isnt the 2 wires supposed to be going to pin number 2 and 5? Is the red wire for the blue wire on the gauge and the black wire is for the ground? Thanks!
