Unknown Evo VIII Cams

Hello,
You are looking at a set of camshafts...I purchased these off a fellow member of Evom at "HKS 272's". What I got were camshafts with the only markings being the number 1.

What I do know for sure is that they are not made by HKS. Apparently they came out of a running evo VIII and were used with the stock valvetrain. Other than that I dont know anything else about these cams.

Unfortunately the original seller will not give me a refund and will no longer respond to my PM's so I am forced to sell them myself I paid $340 but I dont see myself coming even close to breaking even. Just looking to get back some of my loss. This is a great chance for someone to get a set of potentially nice cams for a lot less. Make me an offer and feel free to ask questions as I understand this is kinda a strange listing Thanks for looking!

Send them to the "camdoctor"...they can give you all the specs on them.

I was never given any sound clip. He did say that they had a nice lope in his car and made good power. Not sure if that is actually true but it very well could be.

I would but I really dont want to invest any more money in these cams...shoot me an offer and then you could get them spec'd out I have accepted the fact that im going to take a big hit on these so dont be shy. I will let them go for real cheap. And hey for all you know they could actually be decent cams

These are most likely Jun 264 or 272 cams.

Interested...anyone know how much it costs to get them checked by the camdoctor? Or where to contact him or a person with the machine?

Id imagine he has all necessary tools to find out the specs of the cams. Not to mention he may know of a machine shop near you who too could help you out. I couldnt imagine the test costing more than $50.
