do these come with the springs?

 

No this is just for the cams

 

Did you need to upgrade spring and retainers or did stock work fine?

 

the revolver cams are great but are a hit and miss if used with revolver springs. It's best to buy aftermarket springs and run these. You can probably run these with a stock valvetrain if you shift at the stock redline.

 

I would recommend springs due to the high lift on these cams.
