what's required to run this fuel pump? is it a drop in like a walbro? Also is it new or 10k miles like the injectors?

Brand new with zero miles. Yep, its mostly drop in. You drop it in, connect it to your sending unit like you would a Walbro , connect your positive and negative termals to the pump, and the line you see here is short now and you just clamp your hose to it for the feed line.

You're saying a Bosch 040 will fit in the factory plastic housing just like the stock fuel pump?

That is what I heard. It fits in a DSM fuel pump assembly. Never tried it in my Evo.

I don't think that pump will fit in a stock unmodified sender.
