Alex, I had a similar setup and have an FP intake mated to a Perrin heatshield/intake. The FP intake was cut cleanly to work with the Perrin. My car going back to stock inlet, would you like to trade my FP hose for your Perrin hose? we both can keep our heatshield/filter. Let me know. I can post pics up soon.

Trimmed to fit perfectly with the Perrin Heatshield/stock MAF. Let me know. Only 500 miles on it. By the way, I am assuming that since you are going black, that you are going 84mm ported compressor. Otherwise, if you are using the stock compressor cover, then your current perrin would work.

I would say perfect yes. I trimmed millimeters at a time until I got the correct depth and angle of the cut. I can tell you I had this exact setup on my car and fitment was literally perfect. I am assuming you are using the stock MAF. If so, you are good to go. I used an FP turbo with 84mm housing, so I cant imagine anything being different on your car, especially that the turbo is in the same place. Let me know.

Depends what UICP you are using. My BOV went in the intake tube, and used the stock style hose. So fitment was like stock.

For now it looks like it. Trying to recoup some money for the tranny build. But if all goes well and I have extra dough, I may go back to FP.
