I have for sale a Evo 8 engine with a spun bearing. It had arp bottom end studs and a balance shaft delete. This is all I know about this motor. I am not sure of any more info on the motor, because my friend bought a 2005 evo 8 with this motor in it, which had a spun bearing. The motor still ran, even with this issue.

Make a reasonable offer. Shipping from here will be a lot, so only decent offers will be acknowledged. Remember a good core is, about $1500-$2000.

bare blocks go for about 750 or so on here something to think about.. if it has a spun bearing the crank is no more good to anyone on here. people are pretty picky. just trying to help you out thats glws boss i will ask around localy for you to help you out.

 

I know that the motor isn't perfect. But this is a perfect platform to build on. This will be perfect for someone who is interested in changing the crank, pistons etc. Who's to know if the crank is still good or not? Just because it has a spun bearing doesn't necessarily mean the crank needs replacing? As for the pricing, I only put that price for good working cores. I am not expecting to get that amount. If noone wants it, then I'll have it sent in to be built? Either way, it's a win win.
