I could get more, but what are you looking for in them? Flange side etc?

Why would you relocate the inlet if Buschur designed it that way?

I never liked the way it fit. It would only work with his lower pipe for this FMIC and if you look at the rest of his FMIC design, he changed them all to side inlet for a reason.

I do not know if it makes a difference or not, but I would have to imagine that the flow of air is much more fluid this way with a nice radius 180* bend into the intercooler instead of a 90* bend into the backside of the FMIC.

I never thought of it like that. I am a fan of the Garret intercooler cores but would like to run the MAP lower intercooler pipe.

Incorrect actually. The rear entry design actually tested the best when we did all the testing. I changed them to raise the intercoolers so they didn't hang so low, too many people complained about them. We even did the rear entry on our black drag car that ran 8's.

Looks like you got a lot of use out of the parts!

Good to know!

I bought it second hand and I have had it for 5 years I think now so it has seen plenty of duty.

Still works fine. On the local Mustang dyno in 4th it saw a rise of only 22* and that was at 360whp and this was on a maxed out fp white.

So if this core did well, how would it stack up against your street core? Is it just a different core brand?

I want to get something I will not have to cut anything and I would like to put the tray back on if I can. Thanks for the info Dave!

That core is not as efficient as our street core because the street core is bigger. We also made the street core so it sits up higher in the car to help with the undertrays. Personally, if I wanted to run an undertray I'd run ours which is a smooth sheet.
