FS: OG Synapse Synchronic DV

Price drop to $170 shipped!

Up for sale is a brand new Synapse Synchronic Diverter Valve (Blow Off Valve) for Mitsubishi Evolution IX for $200. I’m selling this for a friend. It is in very good condition and only opened just to check it out and take pictures. My friend already sold his Evo and just want to let go of leftover parts. If interested, send an e-mail, pm and please leave phone number I can reach or text you at. Thanks for looking.

Is that the one that can be a DV or a BOV? And will that work on a stock evo 8 pipe?

DV or BOV is the same. Correct me if I'm wrong fellas....... maybe you mean if it can be push or pull type? It should work on EVO 8 as well.

Well, the DV dumps the air back into the intake before the compressor of the turbo, the BOV dumps all air to atmosphere. I thought synapse sold one of each and one that can be used for both. So basically the air outport should have a flange or something similar to fit a flexpipe to so it can be routed back to the intake pipe. Does this one have that? Or is is strictly a BOV that dumps to atmosphere?

Whats the part number of it?

To answer Smoothy's question, I researched on their website but I can't get a definitive answer as to a DV or BOV or both. The part number seems to be SB001 and it comes with SBC06KITBLKLT(Synapse boost connect kit)

From online it seems like it sways me to this model being a DV but the box says otherwise (BV)

I really thought you could do it eitherway as a diverter valve that recirculates the air or as a Blow off valve that dumps excess air to atmosphere.

Anyone else want to chime in?

The box actually says these features:
No diaphragms!
Pull type design
can eliminate compressor surge
improved throttle response
fast actuation
interchangeable flanges
REMOVABLE RE-CIRCULATION FITTING

Hope this helps
