FS: Forced Performance HTA GT3586R Turbocharger (.82 A/R T3 3" V-Band Outlet)

SOLD!!!

For Sale - Forced Performance Turbocharger (.82 A/R T3 3" V-Band Outlet) Retail $2200.00

Well as 2012 is coming to an end I have decided to part out my turbo kit. I sold the forward facing kit already and now need to sell the turbo.

I bought this turbo brand new from Forced Performance back in early 2011 directly from FP. It has been run for the last 2 seasons and performed flawless! All in all I have put about 600 miles on it total since new. This past July (7/13/2012) I had FP go over the turbo and do a rebuild to make sure it was 100% for the 2012 DSM/EVO Shootout. As you can see from the picture below that was a $527.50 bill.

On 11.11.2012 I was able to get the car out one last time for 2012 and came home with a personal best ET and MPH. The car went 9.37 @ 160.16 mph!! As far as I know that is the fast MPH any EVO has run using this badass turbo.

Looking it over it is in pretty good shape still. The aluminum looks new still and the exhaust housing is free of rust. My car is garage stored and never sees rain or snow. So naturally things look pretty nice even being used. It has always had Brad Penn motor oil run through it with the proper inline filter. The compressor (inlet) wheel has a few small nicks on it from not running a air filter at track events but nothing really major. When Robert @ FP had the turbo he looked it over and told me they wouldn't effect the performance and signed off on one of the inlet blades. The exhaust wheel also has a few small nicks from something small going through it. It still performs the way it should (my 160 mph trap sure shows that lol). I am pricing this turbo low because of this...despite knowing it has no real negative effect. I have no doubt in my mind that this thing would go a LONG time before needing rebuilt and will make a TON of power. I have made as high as 723 whp on Buschur Racings Mustang dyno. When I went from the FP Black to the FP 3586 it only took an extra 100 rpm to spool and made over 100 whp more than the Black.

It is currently all boxed up in the original FP box and ready to ship. The minute payment clears I will ship the turbo out via Fedex Ground. A tracking number will be supplied upon the buyers request. I will insure the turbo for the amount it sells for as well

Price - $1150 Shipped (Anywhere in the lower 48!)

The price above inclues ALL Paypal fees and Shipping costs!! I would be willing to drop another $50 off if the buyer sends paypent as 'a gift'. But that is up to you.

Honestly I think they make about the same power. Buschur has had a car on their dyno with the 6466 and it made about the same power as my car did on the 3586.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone

I was able to find one. I normally don't keep the graphs after we dyno the car. Buschur has all of them stored in their PC.

The one I found isn't bad I guess...3rd gear pull, 40 psi max boost, smoothing on 0, pull started a little later than most would start. I didn't care to start the pull at 2.5-3k rpm as that power to me doesn't matter.

IMO it is the best 'street/track' turbo out there. Driving it around was very enjoyable. It was very responsive for the 2.0 I was running...on a 2.3 it can only get better.

My old FP Black felt like a dog compaired to the 3586.
