Freshly rebuilt Exedy Twin STD, $1050!
Selling my Exedy twin I just rebuilt.
I bought the original clutch off here approximately 3 months ago with intentions of using it for my "Stock" turbo drag car. Well, now I have a PTE 6466 so obviously my intentions changed a bit.
Anyways, I bought the clutch in need of a rebuild. The entire thing was pretty much smoked with exception to the clutch cover. I took the original flywheel to my machinist, and had him turn the flywheel down (Blanchard grinder) .002 of an inch on both the flywheel itself and the towers (To maintain the correct clearances). Other than that, I bought entirely new parts.
The only issues with the clutch are superficial marks on the clutch cover. That beautiful purple cover has a couple gouges in it from what it looks like a poor transmission install. No affect on the operation of the clutch at all.
I am looking to sell the clutch for exactly what I have into it. $1050 The clutch is basically brand new, so you are saving over $500 from a brand new unit.
