I broke a rod in my MR and am wanting to go 5 speed when I rebuild it. PM me about a price if interested and I'll see about getting my transmission out of the car.

Keep the 5 speed, I went from a 6 speed to a 5 speed and the difference in RPM cruising on the highway is not much different. Its not worth swapping.

 

Hey guys, thanks for the responses, the Shep five speed is worth quite a bit more than the six speed so it's going to depend on the condition of the six speed as far as where it lands pricing wise. I am looking for everything to do the swap but most importantly a low mileage or ideally Shep built six speed
