WORST fitting exhaust ever...
I've had my Evo since March 04...the first exhaust I fitted was the Greddy Evo2. Everything bolted right up to a fujitsubo dp and works resonated test pie. I had to bend the middle hanger a bit to align the tip, peace of cake.
After a while I decided to try the Burschur /magnaflow..BEST fitting exhaust ever.
It just was a bit loud for my taste and after a year I purchased a B&B.
The B&B bolted right up but it seemed to put the tip to the inside of the cutout, opposite the greddy. I called in and the tech instructed me to bend the middle hanger to get it aligned, it worked. After a year the rear hanger started to rip the muffler open at the weld so I decided to give the COBB a try. WORST mistake I've done...
The COBB fitted like CRAP the tip was jammed against the cutout, looked lke the exhaust was 1/2 short pulling the hangers all the way forward. Based on past experience i decided to try and adjust the middle hanger. I barely applied force with a 17mm craftsman crown wrenc and the freaking hanger BROKE OFF. What kind of crap is this.
I contacted the seller which will remain anonymous since he tried to help me) but COBB DENIED warranty stating I had damaged the part. This is total BS their POS exhaust did not fit. I later learned that the hangers are cold formed and all of them have bending fracture marks.
I had the hanger repaired by a friend who specializes in machining and welding exotic metals. Since I need to get my B&B warrantied (yes lifetime warranty to original buyer, no questions asked if anything breaks) I attempted to install the POS COBB. I used a 3/8 SS flange to add the necesarry clearance but now the rear O2 sensor hits the body...what a piece of crap the bung is welded to HIGH. cantt they get their **** right!
Now I'm stuck with a worthless piece of crap.
Buyer Beware!

I have seen the COBB system for the Sti's as well and although the fitment is ok the dp design and cat back designs are horrible. They advertise it to be a true 3" although it actually falls down to 2.5 at some spots. You would expect a little more from a company like COBB...
Try buying a TBE from one brand. How the hell does COBB know if their system is compatible with a Japanese brand. Even the slightest incorrect flange angle on the DP will result in an exponential wrong angle at the tip.
Try to heat it and bend it to where you want it.
