How many time has this head been decked?

Do you have the measurement of how much it has been decked?
Too much decking the head will cause the valve to hit the top of the Pistons.
Getting a thicker HG is not good because it won't hold a lot of engine pressure.

Curt Brown wouldn't have touched this head if the deck was to low, I know. He doesn't like to waste his time nor the customers.

I can second that !!! Curt tells you everything (problems etc if any) before he does anything to the head.

Are the valves marked for which port they go into?

The valves were not marked when it was disassembled.

I contacted CB and this was his reply.

That was 131 heads ago! We never take more than a couple of thousands off a head, all heads are the same as far as specs, sorry no official paperwork

Hello, my name is Dillon and I bought a head that was done by you. I was wondering if you could send me a invoice or receipt detailing what work was done on this head. Also any other information about this head like if it was decked would be very helpful. I am selling the head on evom and people have been Asking for an invoice or receipt. I figured I would ask you before sending everyone to you for questions.
Thank you
Dillon
