Congratulations Bakuro on the new job and selling the ol' RA.

Nervous is good - it sharpens the focus and gets adrenalin going. A saying that has stood me in good stead: "Jump off the cliff and build your wings on the way down".

You can do it buddy!!

p.s. Don't know about you guys, but 2016 is the year of upheaval and change for so many people around me.

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. I'll keep that saying in mind when I get started.

A fellow member's car was featured on Jalopnik's Nice Price/Crack pipe segment.

I wonder how much these RAs can tow...

So guys. Been at haltech for 2 weeks now. Its been awesome. Ive had to learn A LOT! But its really cool so far.

One thing I was pretty excited about though. We just released a sort of "base" ecu last week called the Elite 550. It sounds almost perfect for the RA if anyone is interested. Only think it cant do is the drive by wire. However it can be tapped into to receive the throttle position. Might try to work something out for my own projects. I doubt it will ever go into production through the company at this point. But Tapping into the necessary wires would be a pretty straight forward affair if anyone is interested and knows how to read pinouts.

Little update on my last post. I just discovered the TRF lancer rally car was converted from a 13:1 compression 4g94, to a 4g69!! I left them a message on another forum to try to get some updates on the setup. Also because they setup the 4g69 with a Haltech ECU! So I know the car can be run. I'll just have to make an adapter harness and test it on my friends RA.

Hey guys, just another recall PSA.

I received a recall notice for my Ralliart saying the car needs to go back to Mitsubishi dealership to get the control arms checked for rust. Apparently certain models of Mitsubishi vehicles are affected by this issue. They will check it and either apply more rust proofing or replace the control arm if there is too much rust damage. I'll scan a copy of the letter tomorrow.

It's probably best if you check with your dealership to see if your vehicle is affected by this recall or not.

I havent played Rainbow Six in ages. I have, however, been absolutely addicted to The Division. IDk why it is quite repetitive but I find something about it really enjoyable. I just wish more people played it.

You should try Battlefield 4
Now days is cheap cuz theres a new version coming soon.

BTW

Which cable you guys recommend me for flashing a Lancer Ralliart 2006 ?
It's 2.4L USDM, also, I plan to make it turbo,
so it's OEM ECU Could tolerate this kind of remap/flash. ?
Open port 2.0, 1.3U or other cable ?
Preferred program ?
Evoscan, ECUFlash or other program ?
Other considerations I need to take care of,
or be aware of ?

Thanks in advance.

openport 2.0

I don't think evoscan flashes, but ECUFlash will if you have a definition...I use fastworks, because it was the first option we ever had on this platform to actually modify the stock ECU with relative ease for the end user...

You will need a 3 BAR MAP sensor

The pistons are weak, don't aim for anything over 300HP on a stock motor, and if you want some reliability, I would go much past 250.

You will also want to install head studs at the very least.
