Watched his Vid & doing it that way may save a few steps but its not much diff than what the manual notes
He mistakenly noted that the manual requires the intake manifold & the right front axle be removed which was not correct
The factory manual is removing the alternator from that same upper corner. The factory way will most always involve more steps than what can be eliminated in the field
Anyway, this is a good post because this repair is a bit involved compared to other vehicles

Nah, he said the most common method, not the service manual method, is pulling the axle. Other than that you are correct. Anyway, the alternator must have been influenced by gravity to cause that leak. Still, good vid.
