The old "Ifarted2" Paul Nelson Drag 8 had been sitting for years until Atif decided to resurrect it this year and make the old beast do some work. The best it ever ran was an 8.99@167 on a 42R, single scroll, and synchro back in 2008.

This year it ran an 8.7@174 at the shootout in shakedown and then reset the 4 cylinder and Sedan records in the standing 1/2 mile at 213.47 mph. This was with a PPG dogbox and custom 5th on the tall 4.15 final drive.

This is the highest horsepower Evo without nitrous for the boost level, 56psi, that I know of. Especially given that it is on a 72mm turbo and not a 76mm at 69psi and spraying on top of it. I would like to see the uncorrected non nitrous numbers for other cars to compare.
