Hello everyone, I have a question about my front passenger side axle of my evo 9. The axle has a lot play on the output shaft of the transfer case. Video shows movement. My question, is it the bearings in the cv joint causing the play, or the output shaft splines worn out? Or both?

 

Ive have not tackled this issue yet, but it sure appears that the universal joint has way to much play. Heres an exploded view if needed. Hopefully you can rebuild or just buy a fully refurbished 1/2 shaft

 

I've come to the conclusion that I'm just going to buy new front axles and see if there's any play with them.
lso should I go with DSS level 0 or level 2? I'm just shy of 400 hp.
