Tips:
-Secure you rear wheels with chucks.
-Use your hoist to lift the front end. (at least 40"?)
-Use wood dolly(harbor freight) to slide engine assembly in. Make sure you secure engine assembly with straps.
-lower the car to jack stands.
-lift your engine assembly with hoist.
This, or a variation of this. Installing from the bottom is a smoother process.
Took us about 30min to get the motor in position. 3 of us to position the motor lol, 1 person on the driver side, 1 on the passenger side, and 1 raising/lowering cherry picker...15min to bolt the transmission side and 30min to bolt the passenger side. Motor was complete with the exception of AC compressor.
15mins to bolt the transfer case up from the bottom which was the easiest thing and I was thinking it would've been the hardest part.
I just plucked the engine and trans with my cherry picker and load leveler, and installed it same way I took it out from the top. Just unbolt the T-case and support it with a jack-stand, then bolt it back up once you have the motor trans in.

Glad to hear!

I think you got lucky with that. Putting in my t-case by myself was the 2nd worst parts of my build so far.
The worst... removing and re-installing the gas tank.

Plucked from engine bay.
Prepping for re-install.
Going back in.
Back in, finishing build.
