I have a double 90 degree turn by my house (one 90 left, about 50 yards of straight and then one 90 right) that comes off of the freeway. Yes, it's a very fast set of turns, yes, it's very fun. Two weeks ago on my way home I had to stop at the light at the offramp and this porsche (944?) was behind me. He started revving his engine so when the light turned green I took off. He was on me pretty good until the first turn. He didn't know how to take it, turned too late and tried to overcompensate. As I watched him in the rearview he was fishtailing like a **** and I was already starting my second turn by the tiime he was halfway through the little straight. By the time he'd come through the second turn I was about a 1/4 mile away and cruising in 5th. I'd exited the second turn at 60.
At the next red light he was in the turn lane, I was going straight through. As he passed me to take his turn, he slowed, smiled, and nodded defeat.
