Maybe this time I can knock off some high 1.7s.

I wont brag. Its just fun. Your buddies might bust your ***** though, not me.

That's cool. The lowest 60' an F-Body will see on regular street radials is probably 2.0 and maby a 1.9 on some HOT Nittos. I know it's not THAT easy to launch but hell... 1.8's are REALLY good when you're talking about street tires... gives a big advantage to be able to pull 60's like that off consistantly in a 1/4 mile race... the guys at the track did say it was bad - but it was my 1st time every really launching the car so they weren't hard on me. Hopefully I'll see some 2.2's or so on Friday

Depends on both your driving skills, how much boost he's running (does he have an intercooler and/or alky kit?). Also what times does your car run? With his setup he should be able to easily run low 12's on a good launch (if he doesn't have a 12-bolt - he's gonna blow his rear differential soon)... he could even be a mid-11 second car with the nos... assuming he did everything the right way on his setup. Stock LS1's can't take a whole lot but they can also surprise. Also depends if it's a stick or auto. An auto pushing more than 75 extra HP and a good stall converter can rip off low 12's all day with just a cam and a new rear end.... so yah... depends... hope you're running high 11's or it'll probably be nasty. Stock, these cars usually pull off mid to low 13's with a good driver.... usually mid.

Challenge him to a photoshoot instead. At least you will likely win.IMO He will likely kill you V-Boy.A Blown or Turbo-charged V-8 on slicks is no joke. NOS or not U will be destroyed. With slicks he will likely put two cars on u from the start and his 450+ whp will walk u like a Geo Metro. I would estimate if he is SCed he has over 500 whp and with Nitrous 600+whp. Find an NA F-body to run that will be a better race. Let Sammy or James tangle with the Big Boys.

You are being a lil pessimistic about the outcome IMO. The car is SCed so I would suspect he has has the supporting mods. Slicks and supporting Mods = at least mid 11sec at 120 +. More likely low 11s and if he is auto with a stall high 10s at 124 ish.(Stalls are no joke as 1.4-1.5 60fts all day are the norm) My friend NA w/o slicks went low 12s with 2.2 60 fts trapping at 117 mph. Vegasboy is mildly modded and low 13s capable at best. Vegasboy let the big guns run this Beast.
