One crappy fitting poor customer service having company....
Well I will cut through most of the crap on this and get to the point.
Jarrod, my sales manager, entered into a group buy here on EVOM for an EVO9 front fascia for his EVO8.
Reading the description it says how great the front end is and that it is made of poly fiber. Also says OEM fitment. Well he assumed that the front end was made of polyurethane and was somewhat flexible. This piece is rigid as hell with no flex what-so-ever.
BTW, before I go further, I had nothing to do with any of this but feel I am involved now.
The front end shows up here at the shop. Jarrod is all happy. It's yellow, the finish on it is horrible. Very rough, going to need body work to even use it. This is not a part you can simply sand and paint.
He decides to use it anyway. He attempts to install it on the car to find there are absolutely NO holes for mounting it anywhere. There are marks but no holes. He can see it is not going to fit regardless. I hear him talking and is pissed off about it. I walk back myself to see if it is as bad as it seems, yes, it does seem to fit like crap.
Next thing I know is he tries to get this company to take it back, says he will pay shipping back to them, but isn't happy and wants to get a refund.
They tell him "NO, that basically they have a no return policy and he should have been a smarter consumer before buying it." Jarrod explains he bought it from the group buy on EVOM and that the no return policy was NOT posted there and they should take it back. They tell him "NO RETURNS".
Jarrod tells them they have a choice, take it back or he will chargeback his credit card and post something nasty about how poor it fits on EVOM.
They tell him "IF you return it we will refuse it and you will have NO proof that you returned it so don't waste your time." They then tell us how unprofessional it would be to post what we thought about it and it reflects badly on Buschur Racing. blah blah blah.
I get an idea that I will make a counter top out of the front end and put it in the dyno observation room. I buy this front end from Jarrod and tell him to just drop it with these guys and I will keep it for this bar/counter I want to build.
So today Jarrod gets the following e-mail from these jack offs:
Dear Mr. Barnett,
As I predicted you had sent the bumper back to us against our policy, and as I told you, we would refuse it. Now you are responsible for all return fees and storage fees your carrier may require you to pay.
No Signature was placed for delivery confirmation, there will be no supporting documents to demand any type of refund from your credit company.
We suggest you accept item back and deal with the consequences of your poor decision.
Our company knows how to deal with Credit Company ChargeBacks, so do not think you can wrongfully recieve credit by any other means then by our return policy. Also upon seeing the box it was altered in shape and dimensions, you had cut the box and sized it to a different spec. Thus you have violated our requirement to return any item in original package exactly how it was shipped to you. This being irrelevant because such authorization is to be made in advance prior to shipping, and we do not approve a return as written on our previous email.
Our company has written to you and yet we have no word yet from our previous email, we will take this to mean that you are not properly coordinating and are deliberately attempting to seek wrongful claim, such points will be noted to our bank reps and Case#
Best Regards,
Dave Zachry

WOW! Now that is interesting, they got Jarrod's front end back when here it is sitting in our dyno bay waiting for me to make a counter top out of. That is very interesting Dave Zachry. Seems to me like maybe there was ANOTHER unsatisfied customer as it wasn't us, Jarrod kept his.
Just want you guys to know what kind of company these guys seem to be.
This is not vendor bashing, this is cold hard freaking fact that needs to be known. I'd be ashamed to be this **** poor at taking care of a customer.

What **** poor customer service! They should not even be in business. Worst yet is that they thought Jarrod sent it back and sent him the tasteless letter... lol The original owner is probably like WTF?
If it was an EvoM group buy I'd like to hear what others have to say and how Accolade is going to dig themselves out of this **** pile.
