FROM CHICAGO ON I-90
Take the Galena exit at Rockford onto Highway 20 west. Follow 20 west to Elizabeth, IL. Three miles west of Elizabeth is the junction of 20 and 84. Take 84 south for approximately 5 miles to the city limits of Hanover, IL. Turn right at the ski area sign onto Blackjack Road. Follow Blackjack Road 8 miles to our entrance.

That is one thing I never got. You are paying to go to school yet you don't go. Either way imo an education to futher yourself is far more important than a meet. We will just have to have another one

 

yeah, i dont think im going to be able to make it. i would love to ditch out on my first day back at school, but i cant.

Chestnut is probably the best place to go skiing/snowboarding around here. Totally worth the drive...if u're not driving i advise u guys to carpool as much as u can cause it's about 3-4 hours from the chicagoland area..well, that was the case with a coach bus.

for beginners, there's a nice easy slope on the right side, and it's pretty long too. it was fun ripping through with the snowboard there when there were clearly signs that said "Slow Down" dont worry, i didnt cause anyone trouble..

but have fun if you guys go! me and my friends are planning to go to Devil's Head on wednesday!
