The 4G64 crankshaft is forged.

 

Its not nitrated like the 4g63 though.

Okay off topic but how many people here have used the 2.1l destroked motor and how many like it? it would seem like the best of both worlds. I mean if its only .1 liter increase it still should help somewhat with spool and tq and the 2.1l can rev to high heaven.

 

There was a 2.1 rage for a little while look at all of the records still 2.0's.

 

How many people on here have run 2.1L motors because the guy at slowboy racing was almost afraid to suggest it. I dont know if it had anything to do with Curt Brown blowing one up. So im stickn with the 2.3

 

i understand that, but its not like the aftermarket forged stuff. is there anyone overhere using a PROPPER froged crank????
