27psi on 91 octane? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=345560
that 27psi is on a evogreen turbo btw and 27psi is possible on 91oct but on a stock 8 turbo you would be better off being able to run more timing at a lower psi 1.5-1.6bars instead of less timing to run more boost

Now that Ign map looks alot better then mine...more timing too. Damn need to try that on my car and see how the 50T does.
At that point you just see knock numbers go through the roof.
But yes more boost=more heat=the more likely it is to knock after a beating...
So more boost is not a good thing for a track queen like my car
we didnt dyno but most of the time boost will win power over timing until a certain point... than the turbo is just blowing extremely hot air getting past its proficiency.

Yep..and its one reason why i got the 50trim and skipped the Green. The turbo is just a bit more efficient once you get to higher boost levels. So i can track the car and not blow as much Hot air. Plus if i ever wanted to swap i got a T3 housing. Spool is suprisingly good...max Tq before 4k and stays flat....i have shown peeps on my old dyno sheet when i was at lower (street) boost levels.
Strange thing i noticed when i swapped was lower oil temps during the stupid hot days we would have....makes yah wonder huh. Could be the Ball Bearing turbo...or the manifold being less restrictive and allowing more heat to escape...or....
