Injector size for an FP Black, E85 build?

Currently I have full bolt ons and now I'm in the process of pistons, rods, headstuds, rod bolts, clutch/flywheel, fp black turbo, double pump fuel pump, and getting tuned for E85. I have a COBB AP so I'll have/want a map for 91 pump also. I'm looking to be around 450awhp-ish. I just need some suggestions for what size injectors to run. Also any brand suggestions and personal experience with them, if any. I don't track or drag my car; just love spirited driving and new parts I've been considering ID2000's. Good choice? Thanks for any advice!

Those are nice injectors, but a little overkill for your goal of 450whp. AMS has used those on a evo x that was making almost 800whp. Hollywood_x made ~550whp with Deatchwerks 1300cc injectors on E85 and a FP Black, so those should do fine for you and leave a little room to grow once you get tired of 450whp.

He said his 1300's were maxed on his setup. The guys at ID said they would work good. But like you said, and others on other forums, I too think they are overkill. There seems to be no medium though from 1300-2000. I'm hoping I can just "tune-down" the 2000's.

FIC has 1680s... but there are some reports about those and/or the DW 16xx having warm start issues.

The 1300's should be fine for most FPblack builds. If you need more, just bump up the fuel pressure a bit on the 1300's.

You will make well over 500 with a black and 1300's. This is provided you have the supporting mods and a double pumper. I had a single dw 300 pump and that's not enough.

ID doesn't offer 1600's anymore, they have been recalled and discontinued.

Which doesn't help a X owner at all since they run different injectors.

I went with the ID2000's. Talked to a few tuners and they said they should work great. Ill post back with results once everything is installed. It will be a few weeks. Wish me luck!
