Sf stage 2 93 boost issue

I first started with the sf stage 2 93 oct. map with the pill in and it was overboosting at 27-28. So i reflashed it with the lwg map and it was only hitting 21-22. I went forward and took out the boost pill and the car only boosts at 22-23. I can't seem to find the issue, didn't have any knock or even fuel cut when overboosting. Just trying to hit that 25ish boost peak how cobb states that stage2 should hit. Anyone have any ideas. Greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you're getting right on there to me. From what i've read a lot of the "gurus" on here say to not worrying about hitting that exact target boost level until you get a pro tune or use ATR to adjust some things. I'm not a guru like they are by any means LOL but I think you're about where you want to be. Maybe this little bump can get you some more help too

23 is fine, elevation and weather both with affect your indicated boost. If you want your setup maxed out get a protune.

I had the same problem with the OTS maps. I ended up having to modify the load targets and WGDC to get the boost under control. It isn't rocket surgery, do some logs logging RPM, Boost, and Load (Fuel). This is of course, only if your fueling and timing are relatively inline.

A good start would be lowering your Boost Control Offset by a few percent and relog. There are plenty of experienced people here to help you if you cannot get a protune right now. Once you see how easy it is, you will most likely cry.

If you want to make boost control even easier to tune and gain greater control, look into a 3-port.

Like Kracka said though, don't get so obsessed with hitting a PSI target, you are running load based control, so your target should be hitting your loads not the PSI, per se.
