Boost readings all over the board.....
Boost readings all over the board.....
Guys,
When running the car under WOT, the car has inconsistent boost. It starts out around 1.4Bar and settling in at 1.35, where it should be. Next pull, two minutes later, 1.2Bar, settling in at 1.1B. Next pull, 1.4, settling in at 1.3. YOu get the picture. I have a MBC on the car, with LIC, which I just installed. I double-checked the piping, and there is NO way it is leaking. If it was, it would be consistently lower.
Is it possible to wear-out an MBC? Could it be my BOV going out? I open-track the car quite a bit, so I am sure it has some wear, but I mean, I thought the MBC would last atleast two years. The car feels strong, regardless, so I am not concerned, but I want to know what could be causing this?

do you hear your bov leaking... i doubt its that... i would say its either your wastegate not sealing, your b/c has a leak in the vacuum line somewhere... or as i always say in this case, buy a electronic b/c.. 7 out of 10 times im right... if have been seeing from alot of people that these manual b/c arnet consistent.. but like all things some people dont have a single prob though... as far as a b/c wearing out i cant see that... air flows through it... but i could be wrong..
