Cool Ultimate Racing Evo X Products Thread

Hey guys,

Been a long while since we've posted here on evom.net, but we're back with some "goodies" for the Evo X. We acquired our Evo X later than most (probably because we're in Canada ) but quickly made it a top priority on our "to do" list. During our hiatus from the Evo world, we spent a great deal of time producing some of the best products available for the WRX, STi, and even BMW's. Most of North America's quickest and fastest Subarus run Ultimate Racing turbo kits. Needless to say, we've learned a thing or two about what customers want and need.

Performance
As always, Ultimate Racing products are first and foremost performance oriented. Simply put, it's got to perform or else we won't sell it.

Pricing
In all our years, we've seen so many products come and go. Good/bad, cheap/expensive parts. The one constant is that inexpensive parts seem to sell, no matter how well (or poorly) they perform. We will be offering parts that are well thought out, fabricated from high quality materials, perform with the best of them, and are priced right.

Options Options Options
We have always been an accommodating vendor. Many of our products have multiple options because we know that not everyone wants the same thing. Some like it loud, some quiet, some are tree huggers, etc. Whatever your preference, we'll have something for you

The Products to be constantly updated...

Ultimate Racing 3" Single Exit Catback Exhaust

- TIG welded to perfection
- 21.5 lbs (starting) compared to 44.0 lbs OEM
- 2-piece midpipe design (see below)
- Bolt-on

Price
$550.00

Options
- Resonated Midpipe +$80.00
- Mini-Muffler Midpipe +$100.00 (see below)

Performance
Stock vs Ultimate Racing 3" Catback Exhaust (no options)

Comments
Sounds incredible. Performs as it should. If you're looking for quiet, go for the optional mini-muffler. It makes a world of difference.

Ultimate Racing Short Ram Intake

Build
- High Flow Cone Filter
- MAF Housing
- Bolt-on

Price
$150.00

Options
- Polished Finish
- Black Finish

Performance
Catback vs Catback/Intake

Comments
The intake was a very interesting piece. Instead of a slap on filter, we decided to machine a MAF housing and then slap the filter on. The machined housing does differ from the OEM spec, and obviously allows for a slightly leaner Air/Fuel Ratio for better power. AFR's went from 10's to about 11.2 with zero signs of drivability issues. The gains are huge. Combination of higher boost (DynoJet shows 3psi in some areas), and much more ideal Air/Fuel Ratios. Call BS if you will, but we wouldn't release unachievable results.

Ultimate Racing 3" Test Pipe / High-Flow Cat

Build
- 304 Stainless steel piping
- 304 Stainless steel casted elbows
- TIG welded to perfection
- 3.5 lbs (starting) compared to 14.0 lbs OEM
- Same CEL fix used on our Evo X and IX Test Pipes
- Bolt-on

Price
$150.00

Options
- Resonated Test Pipe +$80.00

- Mini-Muffler Test Pipe +$100.00

- Ceramic High-Flow Cat (efficient to 450 HP) +$100.00
Picture coming soon

- Metal Substrate High-Flow Cat (efficient to 750 HP) +$150.00

Performance
Catback/Intake vs Catback/Intake/Test Pipe

Comments
Reasonably priced, effective, and with some good options to quiet down your Evo X.

Ultimate Racing 3" Downpipe

Build
- 304 Stainless steel piping
- 304 Stainless steel casted elbows
- TIG welded to perfection
- 3.0 lbs (starting) compared to 4.5 lbs OEM
- Bolt-on

Price
$150.00

Performance
Catback/Intake/Test Pipe vs Catback/Intake/Test Pipe/Downpipe

Comments
A lot of talk about whether or not 3" downpipes actually make power on the X. Well there it is, and it doesn't cost a fortune either.

Summary

$1000 for 64 whp, and 49 ft/lbs. Not bad if you ask me. Hell, I'll even throw in free shipping for evom.net members.

Will this be a true dual system or just an axel back split like in the stock car?

1) No MBC. Just bolted the parts on.

2) 3" Downpipe, 3" Test Pipe (no options), 3" Catback Exhaust (Mini-muffler midpipe option)

You'll have to forgive the wind, we're JUST getting out of winter here

Um, how would it be possible to even make a true dual system for a single manifold car?

C'mon, that's an easy one. Split the manifold, add a second turbo and then you can run your true dual system.

I cant believe the massive power this car is making with minimal mods and no tuning. that much power increase in the car i drive now would be 8k+ worth of mods easily.
