ACD Relocation Help
Hi Guys,
I am done relocating my ACD pump physically. Just have to plumb it and finish wiring. I've tried plumbing via hard-line and re-purposing the EVAP line but am not satisfied with the outcome. Where the pump is on the passenger side rear requires a lot of bends and turns to get connected to straight piece of hard-line. So I want to use high pressure PTFE line and AN connections instead to connect to hard-line in between front and rear of car.
My question is with AN fittings and PTFE line. I've never used either before. I realize its easy to build it, but my question lies with what I need to order specifically.
The bolts thread pitch I need on either extreme are 14 x 1.5. Planning to use AN 6 size PTFE line and fittings.
Something like this:
ACD PUMP OUTPUT(14x1.5 inverted flare) <---> Rear PTFE hose <---> HARD-LINE(To get back to front) <---> Front PTFE hose <---> Connection to OE hose at Transfer-case(14x1.5 inverted flare)
Does anyone have experience in getting everything I need to build it?

I am trying to emulate how R/TErnie did his. Here are some of his pictures. So needing help to order the right fittings/adapter at the pump, and then the fittings for a piece of 5/16" or 8mm hard-line, and same scenario at the front to connect to OE ACD line at the transfer-case.

It's been years since I had mine relocated and highly recommend moving it into the trunk. I ended up keeping the factory hardline and welding a fitting to it . Driven fab has an evo x kit and you may be able to source the custom fitting they had made from them. -6 to m14 by 1.5 inverted flare.

That fitting, to go from 6an to 14 x 1.5 inverted flare seems to be the missing link. In my research so far I have put this Earls package together. 5/16" is AN5 which is hard to find. So in going to AN6 I'll use 3/8" hard-line.

Bumping this thread up. Getting ready to do this on the offseason. One detail I'm not following is where/how people are accessing the ACD line/fitting on the transfer case. I followed the line from the ACD pump around the engine bay and I lost sight of it. I know there is a banjo bolt on the pump a soft hose section (See #4 on photo).
Are you guys connecting there? Dropping the transfer case and replacing all of the lines?

Leave that flexible line with the banjo in place. If you follow the hardline it goes up in the trans tunnel over the driveshaft and there is a union there. I started my line right from there.
EDIT: My rec above is assuming youre planning on bending up a hardline. If youre going braided them I would make it go all the way. Personally I thought a hardline would look proper. I will say it was a giant PITA and if I didnt have a lift Im not sure I would have been able to bend up the hardline.

Just FYI, you don't need PTFE hose. PTFE hose is for fue line that is run inside the cabin and you don't the smell of fuel permeating the hose. Save a few bucks and just run standard braided AN line. Either stainless or the fiber braided stuff.

I'm planning on using hard-line to the majority, short sections of braided as-needed. No lift, just jackstands....

I think technically you could get to it without pulling the shaft but you're going at it with a flare nut wrench which is 6pt so it doesn't leave you much room if any to physically turn it before making contact with the driveshaft. For as easy as it is to pull the shaft I'd just do it. Make sure you have extra xcase fluid too bc it'll **** out of the tailshaft.
