How do I organize a GB? What is the process.

you get the a vendor that wants to give you a discount and then go post it in the correct section.

ok well I have a vendor but not regisatered on the site do they need to be and how much does it cost to be a reg. vendor

^i didnt think that the person offereing the GB or the poeple that they were getting it from had to be a vendor

The vendor does not have to be registered.

That's why YOU would be organizing the GB - because you are a member and you'd be handling the process.

I organized a Group Buy on here not too long ago. You can't profit from the transaction. There are a list of rules about selling things here. You can also get an idea of how I did it by reading my Group Buy thread here. I suggest you think about it long and hard, though. The one I did ended up being a headache beacuse of...well.....Just read the thread from start to finish and you'll see why.

One tip I'd advise: Don't handle the money yourself. It makes things vastly more complicated.

People backed out on my big brake upgrade and motor mount group buys, but both went through. RMR and DMR handled the money transactions, making things a lot easier for me as the organizer.
